Concealed Carry

Thank you for inquiring about our Carrying of a Concealed Weapon (CCW) and permit to carry class.

The liberty of "we the people" to be able to self-protect and be the first responder to a deadly threat has been suppressed. By educating the people, we can go forth with knowledge and support to recover this liberty.

The instructor, Henry Rahr, is a certified teacher of both the Minnesota Permit to Carry course and Utah concealed carry. The Minnesota permit allows both concealed and open-carrying of a pistol in Minnesota. The Utah permit is for concealed carry. He is certified by the AACFI (American Association of Certified Firearms Instructors) based out of Minnesota, and is also certified to teach basic handling and safety for firearms. Henry has over 38 years of weapon experience including multiple awards for marksmanship and is a NRA lifetime member.

The certificate of completion is accepted by MN, FL, UT and NH. The combination of all four permits allows concealed carry as a non-resident permit holder in over 31 states.

Florida honored by: AL,AK,AZ,AR,CO,DE,GA,ID,IN,KY,LA,MI(RES-ONLY),MS,MO,MT,NH(RES-ONLY),NM,NC,ND,OH,OK,PA,SD,TN,TX,UT,VT,VA, and WY. Utah is similar to Florida and adds WA.

Minnesota honored by: AL,AZ,ID,IN,KY,MI(res-only),MO,MT,NM,OK,SD,TN,UT,VT, and VA. New Hampshire honored by: AL,AK,CO,FL(res-only),GA,ID,IN,KY,LA,MI(res-only),MS,MO,NC,ND,OK,PA,SD,TN,UT,VT, and WY.

Kansas and Nebraska are in the process of state recognition, possible two more states added.

The guidelines for self defense by use of a permit holder has many of the same engagement guidelines for self defense in a state with out a permit provision, this course will explain the similarities and differences.

The WI CCW law has not been adopted. In the most recently proposed WI bills, similiar provisions taught in the course have been incorporated in the writing of the WI CCW law. WI CCW law could honor these permits and or this course in the future, but this is unknown, not guaranteed. If the WI CCW allows this course to satisfy or need limited additional/changed information, the savings will be passed to you as well as a faster certification.

The MN course will consist of approximately 5-6 hours of training in a classroom setting, emphasizing student participation and active involvement. There will be hands-on demonstrations of equipment suggested for concealed carry. After classroom training, the class will participate in a timed firearm exercise at a local gun range. This is to demonstrate shooting accuracy, safe firearm handling procedures, and competancy with a firearm. After completing the classroom training, and passing the firearms exercises, the student will receive a certificate of course completion which is required to obtain the Minnesota Weapons Permit. Utah certification adds 2-4 hours.
